In the Town of Wendover in Aylesbury residents on Ellesborough Road have been affected by HS2. Their work focuses on building a ‘green tunnel’ and realigning the road to go behind the existing houses. This realignment is a temporary fixture. Consequently, numbers 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 and 40 have been demolished as well as Wendover Cricket Ground and Pavilion. This has resulted in loss of green space affecting animal and plant biodiversity.
